While last years site was put up after the event, this time it opened from 6 weeks BEFORE new years eve, providing everyone with the possibility to meet, get the latest info, post on the bulletin board, set up gatherings etc.
This will serve as a tool for anyone who plans to attend but hopefully it will also be entertaining
for those who can't make it to Chicago this year.

All sections now contain info, the upper part is from after the event, here are all the latest pics, most of the lower part (smallprint) is the 'service-section' from before the event, now an archive of sweet memories...
The site will have daily updates until mid-february 1997 and looks best in Netscape 3.0 or higher (but 2.0 will work fine too).

"7th Heaven in '97"
An event of epic proportions is unfolding, yet again, for Todd fans lucky enough to find themselves in Chicago this New Year's Eve! A veritable New Year's Redux will occur as Todd rings in the New Year at Park West (322 W. Armitage) on December 31, 1997.
Tickets are $40.00 and available from Ticketmaster. Like last year, a block of rooms has been secured at the Days Inn-Gold Coast (1816 N. Clark St., Chicago, IL 60614; 312/664-3040), which is in walking distance of the Park West. The rooms are $99.00 for the night and are being held under the name "Coalition for Utopia".
There is a dinner at Travia's (in the Days Inn building) scheduled for 5:30 PM, pre-show. Please call or e-mail me to get your head counted, reservation-wise. Then it's onto the show, which we've heard is of the not-to-be-missed variety! After the show, for those hardy "Energizer" types, we've arranged a late-night gathering at The Bulls nightclub (1916 N. Lincoln Park West; also in walking distance from the club & hotel). There will be some sort of cover involved ($10 or less), as there will be food, drink and live jazz until 4 AM.
Those who are still around on New Year's Day between 11 AM and 1 PM would be wise to try the Mimosas at Bigsby's (1750 N. Clark) brunch. We'll be in the Michael Jordan room to wrap up what promises to be another wonderful NYE celebration! If you have Internet access, check out Lion Keezer's incredible WWW pages (http://www.ish.nl/TRI_NYE/1997) to see what fun you missed last year and to preview the upcoming extravaganza! Heck, we had so much fun last year that Lion's coming to Chicago again from Amsterdam!

Todd is confirmed to play at the Park West in Chicago on New Year's Eve; night before in Columbus, OH (venue TBD). There may also be some additional shows earlier in the week TBD.
7th Heavan in '97!!! Now that Kelli has made the official announcement, I can tell you all that I've been working on securing hotel rooms, etc. NYD Brunch is booked in the Michael Jordan room at Bigsby's, as occured spontaneously last year. Days Inn Gold Coast still seems like the best bet to me (construction is completed)...Topo Giogio's has changed hands. Still Italian specialties and a bar...wanna do dinner before the show? Let's find a different after-show gathering spot, though, eh TR?! 8-/ Lemme know...
